My professional photography career began after Journalism School in Missouri, where I worked for professional sports photographer, Lew Portnoy in St. Louis. I spent a season photographing professional hockey and basketball. The following year I moved to Kansas City and began working as staff photographer for a small weekly. I moved to Palm Springs almost 25 years ago, initially as staff photographer for Palm Springs Life Magazine and have been freelancing for over 20 years. I continue to do assignments for Palm Springs Premier Magazine as well as publications around the world.

As these pages attest I have a wide range of experience and interest.

Most of the season in Palm Springs the work consists of covering the top social and corporate events. I've had the privilege of working with celebrities, sports greats, community leaders and many world figures who frequent the desert.

As well as commercial work I have been developing a body of fine art images that allows me to explore landscapes of the Southwest, Ireland, Greece and India. I have been showing in local galleries for about six years. All gallery images are printed with the Ilfocrome Classic process.
